The South Pasadena Arts Crawl

I recently got the opportunity to make this season’s South Pasadena Arts Crawl poster! I love that the posters are always done by local artists, and a great variety of art is always featured. After a little brainstorming back and forth with the art director, we hit upon this idea- something that celebrates women’s history month, an exciting nighttime procession, and, my personal favorite bit, a nod to the Olympic Games white tiger mascot. Le Chat Méchant

Yesterday, my roommate posted a link on my Facebook to a competition to design a scarf. Pretty cool. The catch? The deadline is tomorrow. Bring it on. First, sketch. The theme for the contest was “words”. Inspiration could be a single letter, a single word, or a quote. I chose “Le Chat Méchant”. Personality Shift

I’m a bit late with this update, but life has a funny habit of getting in the way sometimes. Last year, I was invited to participate in Light Grey Art Lab’s Great Personality show. LGAL has quickly become one of my favorite galleries to produce work for; they always have incredibly creative ideas that I would be surprised to see elsewhere.
